The Cornish Tee Room is a Redruth-based startup creating locally designed T-shirts inspired by Cornwall. Their designs are intended to raise a smile, spark conversations, and celebrate local culture with a bit of personality. As a new business preparing to launch their first products, they needed a simple and reliable way to showcase their designs and begin selling online

Brief

The client needed an affordable and straightforward way to establish an online presence and begin selling their products.

As a new startup, the priority was to create a clean website that could introduce the brand, display their designs, and support direct online sales without unnecessary complexity or high ongoing costs.

The project also started our redruth.biz initiative - an effort to help local Redruth businesses get online quickly and cost-effectively using simple subdomain websites.

Solution

We created a simple website and online store that allows visitors to browse the T-shirt designs and purchase them online.

The focus was on clarity and ease of use, allowing customers to quickly understand the brand, view available products, and place an order without unnecessary steps.

By hosting the site on the cornishteeroom.redruth.biz subdomain, the client was able to launch their business online quickly without needing to purchase or manage a separate domain name.

What we implemented

The website includes:

The site was built using the Hostinger website builder and hosted on Hostinger infrastructure, providing a reliable and cost-effective platform for small businesses starting their online presence.

E-commerce functionality was integrated to allow secure online ordering and payment via Stripe while keeping the overall site lightweight and easy to maintain.

The website is hosted under the redruth.biz domain initiative, allowing the client to operate at cornishteeroom.redruth.biz without the need to purchase a separate domain while still maintaining a professional and memorable web address.
